SdKfz 2 was the smallest German military vehicle installed with the complex Schachtellaufwerk overlapped and interleaved road wheels as used on most German military half-track vehicles during World War II. Most of them were served on the eastern front since they were well suited for thick mud and snow road condition. They were highly reliable and versatile as small artillery tractors and fast infantry transports.
